During the pandemic in 2020, the No Code took a giant leap. Although the No Code movement has been around for a few years, the tools to create platforms without coding have been around long before.

Today, there are more than a hundred No Code tools on the market. But it is important to know who has taken the ground and to really move forward in what you want to do as a project.

Is a pioneer in the world of no-code web application creation. Founded in 2012, it is one of the most popular and is in the majority of the top tools used by non-coders. The tool can do everything. You can change the design to your liking, manage user data and connect your app to any API.

5-Landbot

Is a no code chatbot tool. Founded in 2017, it allows you to create the chatbot visually by connecting conversations with each other and requirements. Beyond a robotic conversation with your prospects, you can talk to them yourself, convert leads, capture data (e.g. emails), modify the chat design and more. Landbot has integration with several tools like Slack, Stripe, MailChimp, Zapier, Salesforce and others. There is even a WhatsApp add-on.

6-Make,

Founded in 2012 as Integromat, the company made a name change in 2022.

The difference with other automation tools is that you can visualise your flow and use drag & drop with the apps.

7-MemberSpace

Is a membership tool created in 2015, i.e. it puts a paid barrier to entry for users. They have to pay for access to your exclusive content. Whatever your CMS, it ensures the integration and allows you to make the design so that it respects your visual identity.

8-Notion

Is a productivity application that aims to replace several tools. It can serve as a central document for your personal life or work. It can even help you manage your projects.

9-Podia

Is a well-known tool for creating online courses, but allows for growth with an online community, website, affiliate program, and email management.

10-Softr

Is a No code website and web app creation tool, launched in 2020. if Dorik is a baby for Webflow, Softr is a baby for Bubble. The page builder is very simple, just move blocks to create the website or application.

11-Tally

Founded in 2020, it is like the Notion of forms. It’s such a simple and intuitive tool. In addition, most of the features are available for free.

12-Typeform

Founded in 2012, it is a form creation tool. The big advantage of using Typeform instead of Google Forms for example is its interactivity and design. There are also many different types of questions and ways to share the survey.

13-WeWeb

WeWeb is a no code web application creation tool, launched in 2020. It’s a mix between Webflow for the front-end and Bubble for the back-end.

You can drag & drop to visually build user interfaces and use any database or API as a back-end.

14-Zapier

Is the most popular tool in the no code for automation, launched in 2012. Basically, it connects tools together using APIs and automates recurring tasks like sending a welcome email to new members.

15-Glide

Create a mobile application from a Google Sheet, it’s possible thanks to Glide. A very popular No Code mobile app tool, it is ideal for quickly testing an idea. Glide is mainly used to create simple applications: business applications like CRM, events, budget, to-do-list.

There is no drag-and-drop like other app design tools such as Bubble, and this limits control over the app’s visuals.

16-Coda

A recent No Code tool, Coda is a work management platform that combines spreadsheets and documents into one powerful tool. Like Notion, it allows you to create your own application document from scratch.

One of Coda’s main strengths is its formulas and automation capabilities. You can automate a wide variety of tasks.

17-Figma

Simple, fast and powerful, Figma is a no code collaborative design tool. As a vector graphics editor, it allows you to create prototypes and UX/UI models for your websites, landing pages, mobile applications, etc.

18-Fathom Analytics

Launched in 2018, Fathom Analytics is now a good alternative to Google Analytics. Easier to use, this tool is also known to respect the privacy of users.

It tracks users of your site, without collecting personal data.

19-Miro

Founded in 2011, Miro is the first no code whiteboard platform. A very powerful collaborative tool that offers several integrations for your workflow: Dropbox, Google Suite, Jira, Teams, Slack or even Sketch and Adobe XD. It is designed for teams of all sizes. It can be used for many purposes: workshops, meetings, brainstorming, workflows, mind mapping, but also UX design.
